New association directory launched by Visit London

Associations with an eye on hosting events in London have been given a major boost with the launch of a brand new and free directory to assist with their congress plans. Visit London’s London for associations – a destination guide to meetings directory will have its global launch on the Visit London stand at trade exhibition EIBTM in Barcelona (2-4th Dec 2008 – stand # G110). The directory is part of a unique event planners toolkit, providing information on the UK capital’s range of purpose-built conference and exhibition centres, convention hotels, social, academic and unusual venues, as well as service and transport providers.
The directory includes sections such as Value London and Gateway which are designed to help planners make the most of London’s wide array of cost-saving and sightseeing opportunities, whilst a section devoted to support services will put planners in touch with Professional Conference Organisers, Destination Management Companies, transport and other suppliers, vital for a successful event.
