28 October 09
Visit London has launched a new page on visitlondon.com, dedicated specifically to servicing London’s concierges.
The Visit London Concierge page contains useful links and vital information to help keep concierges, key figures in London’s tourism industry, abreast of the latest news, openings and offers available for visitors to the capital.
The page will primarily focus on providing up-to-date information on events in London, special ticket deals for top shows and attractions and the latest restaurant and shopping news, as well as a section on London hotels, to enable concierges to keep informed of developments within the hospitality sector.
The page also features a number of ‘Top 10’ lists, to assist concierges in providing their guests with key insider knowledge on the very best of London’s attractions, exhibitions, gigs, clubs, musicals and panoramic viewpoints.
In addition, the page will serve as a handy portal to Visit London’s comprehensive guides to the capital, already available on visitlondon.com. These invaluable resources include maps and area guides, suggested itineraries, travel and transport information, London Planner (a monthly ‘what’s on’ guide) and Only in London, which highlights all of the experiences and attractions that are unique to our capital.
Visitors to the page will also have the opportunity to register to receive free regular email updates containing all of the very latest information to pass on to their guests and ensure they are kept at the forefront of industry developments.
Visit London’s website currently receives 1.3 million unique users each month and is a vital resource for tourists, residents and members of the travel trade to obtain news and information on everything taking place in the city.
Sally Chatterjee, Interim CEO, Visit London said:
‘London’s concierges play an invaluable role in our industry, providing visitors to London with unique insider knowledge about everything taking place around the capital.
